Geraldi’s
Giraldi’s is a small pizza joint with outside tables and a friendly, vibey atmosphere. Don’t be fooled by the restaurant’s size: they’re known to be one of the finest pizza joints in town. Freshly-made dough, hand-made sauce, and sausages combine to produce some of the finest pizzas available. Pizzas are made the traditional way, and you can even watch them being hand-tossed.
There are three size choices, 10″, 14″, and 18″, and then you have a choice of 24 ingredients available to make the pizza your own. They also have five combination pizzas, one of which is the best vegetarian pizza we’ve tasted in a long time. Service is fast, and it seems like just a few minutes before your piping-hot pizza is on a plate before you. Giraldi’s can be found at 1954 Beach Road.
Bobarino’s Pizzeria
This pizzeria is family-owned and operated and makes some of the tastiest pizzas in town. They use a traditional Neapolitan wood-fired oven for the best possible taste. These pizzas are available in four sizes, namely 10″, 12″, 16″, and 18″. You have the option to build-your-own pizza, or you pick from their large selection of signature pizzas.
The menu also features several options you don’t often see, including Sicilian square pizza, stuffed pizzas, and cheese steak stuffed pizzas. Our personal favorite is the white pizza with ricotta, mozzarella, pecorino Romano, and garlic. Bobaribos can be found at 20 Magnolia Avenue.
Nicola’s Italian Kitchen
Nicola’s is one of the friendliest restaurants in town. It’s family-owned and managed and has been drawing large crowds since 1990 when it opened. Their focus is on using the freshest ingredients to produce their signature dishes. All of their food ingredients and presentation draw their inspiration from family dining in Italy.
In keeping with traditional food, their pizzas are cooked in a red-brick oven. There are six basic pizzas to choose from and more than 18 ingredients available to make your own. You can also choose pizza in 12″ or 18″. We love Nicola’s special pizza with pepperoni, sausage, black olives, onions, green and red pepper, and mushrooms. Stop by Nicola’s at 4343 S Access Road.
